Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient/family-centered care using the Watson Model of Care on a 12-hour shift schedule.

The role emphasizes clinical judgment and compassionate communication within a defined patient population. Reporting to the Clinical Unit Supervisor, you will perform assessments, plan and implement care, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or higher; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care; CA RN license required.
• Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish); basic computer skills; BLS/ACLS; EMR experience.

Responsabilités

• Apply nursing process to plan and deliver patient/family centered care.
• Prioritize and coordinate patient care across shifts.
• Document IPOC, orders, and care plans according to policies.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to physician and team.
• Support discharge planning and patient education.
• Maintain safety and regulatory standards and participate in quality initiatives.
