Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Unit 1 in Columbus, Ohio. The RN provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse acute settings. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs as required.

Day shift with 24 hours per week. Minimum qualifications include an Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Document planned interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to revise plans of care as needed.
• Lead process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality and safety.
• Support 24/7/365 operations within the Med Surg Unit 1.
