Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift across Denver-area hospitals. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, patient and family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Qualified candidates will hold an RN license with BLS.

An associate degree is required, Bachelor’s preferred. There is a 10K sign-on and relocation assistance for eligible candidates, with strong growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS certification.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Clinical competency in acute care settings is expected.
• Must be fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care; ensure clear communication.
• Document patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate nursing care to team members; promote efficiency.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
