Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing, active RN license, and BLS. One year of Med-Surg experience is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Med-Surg clinical experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across multiple factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications safely per orders and monitor reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
