AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical unit. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate across teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Med Surg experience required.
• Registered Nurse license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust as needed for outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks as needed.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement.
