Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse (MedSurg) for PRN shifts. The role involves direct patient care, care planning, and collaboration with the care team to meet patient needs in a busy MedSurg unit.

Requirements include Oklahoma RN licensure, ADN (BSN preferred), BLS certification, and NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire. Experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with the patient’s designated care partner to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
