Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nurse Tech-RN student for the Medsurg PRN role.

You will assist with patient care under RN supervision, gain hands-on experience across diverse populations, and participate in patient education as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position requires enrollment in an accredited nursing program (first semester) or Oklahoma CNA licensure, with BLS and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in and successful completion of the first semester of an accredited Nursing Program or current Oklahoma CNA licensure and enrolled in an accredited Nursing Program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in assembling and operating equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per Patient/Family Education policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes of UHS.
