St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medsurg Department. This full-time day shift role involves direct patient care, care planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, implementing and evaluating the care plan, and educating patients and families. Oklahoma RN license required; ADN acceptable with BSN preferred; BLS and ALS within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• ALS required within 3 months of employment.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certified within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with the patient’s designated care partner to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
