Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, Colorado is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Department. The RN will provide professional nursing care, educate patients, and work as part of a care team with physicians and other staff.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Colorado RN registration, current BLS, and ACLS/PALS/ENPC certification within 6 months. At least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Colorado RN license and registration.
• Current BLS certification at hire.
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and education to inpatients.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as part of the care team.
• Document patient progress and communicate with physicians.
• Educate patients and advocate for their needs.
• Support patient comfort, hydration, nutrition, and pain management.
• Complete assigned tasks to ensure efficient unit operations.
