Job summary

Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City, IA is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide safe, patient‑centered care using the nursing process for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.

Starting in Med/Surg with opportunity to cross-train to Birth Center and/or Emergency Department; ADN required, Iowa RN license, and new grads are encouraged to apply. Full-time night shift (0.9 FTE, 72 hours biweekly) with every third weekend, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., meal break included.

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for medical-surgical patients (adult, geriatric, pediatric).
• Cross-train to Birth Center and/or Emergency Department if desired.
