Job description

Full Time Night Shift RN – Med Surg Floor

Looking for a full time RN to work night shift on the Med Surg floor. The schedule includes 12‑hour shifts (6:45 pm to 7:15 am), every 3rd weekend and self‑scheduled holiday rotation. The RN must be a team player, possess strong communication skills, and be eager to deliver excellent patient care. This position offers a supportive team environment, opportunities to cross‑train to the Emergency Department if desired, and potential advancement to Charge Nurse for those who demonstrate positive and effective leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as an RN in the State of Iowa or a compact state.
• Certification in Basic Life Support and, preferably, Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Experience

• At least one year of RN experience preferred but not required.

The applicant must pass a background check, employer‑provided health assessment (including applicable vaccines), and a drug screen before hiring. The position is open until filled.
