Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Establish and maintain communication, and provide learning opportunities for patients and families.
• Provide age-appropriate care on the unit.
• Collaborate with physician regarding condition, orders, and treatment plan.
• Demonstrate leadership with LPNs, aides, and secretaries to ensure quality care and collaboration.
• Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and hospital compliance.
• Maintain department and unit competencies for patient care.
