Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education of patients.
• Communicate with the health care team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to interdisciplinary colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization.
• Assist the leadership team with quality improvement projects.
