Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MedSurg 4A unit. This role supports patient-centered care within a Magnet® recognized organization, delivering evidence-based nursing on a 32-hour schedule with rotating weekends. Qualified candidates hold a Nursing Diploma/ASN/BSN, MA RN license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• RN license in MA (Current MA RN license) and BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
• Excellent patient-centered care and communication with care team

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in MedSurg including assessment, planning, interventions, evaluation, and education of patients.
• Communicate with health care team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities with inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and interpret computerized data.
• Follow BMC nursing policies and participate in quality improvement projects
