Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the MedSurg Department at Avita Galion Hospital. The role involves direct patient care, coordinating with the care team, and patient advocacy to support our mission of compassionate care.

Qualified candidates will hold an Ohio RN license with BLS and ACLS. Preference given to those with 2+ years of nursing experience and telemetry exposure; PALS is a plus for charge-trained nurses.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Two+ years nursing experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• PALS certification preferred for charge trained nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for MedSurg patients.
• Ensure continuity of care between shifts and supervise nursing assistants and staff.
• Provide patient and family teaching and serve as patient advocate.
