Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the MedSurg Department at Avita Galion Hospital. The role involves direct patient care, coordinating with the care team, and patient advocacy to support our mission of compassionate care.

Qualified candidates will hold an Ohio RN license with BLS and ACLS. Preference given to those with 2+ years of nursing experience and telemetry exposure; PALS is a plus for charge-trained nurses.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg Department at our Galionlocation.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous telemetry experience.
• PALS certification. (For charge trained nurses.)
