Job summary

Avita Health System in Galion, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the MedSurg Department. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care while ensuring continuity across shifts.

You will supervise nursing assistants, LPNs and support staff, participate in patient and family teaching, and advocate for patients in line with our mission. Required: Ohio RN license, BLS and ACLS; preferred telemetry experience, 2+ years, and PALS for charge

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license (Active)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Preferred telemetry experience and 2+ years nursing experience
• PALS certification for charge trained nurses (optional)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Ensure continuity of care between shifts by supervising nursing assistants, LPNs and staff.
• Provide patient and family teaching and advocate for patients in line with the facility's mission.
