Avita Health System in Bucyrus, Ohio, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the MedSurg Department. This role provides direct patient care, collaborates with the care team, and supports patient and family teaching to uphold our mission of high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of nursing experience (preferred).
• Telemetry experience (preferred).
• PALS certification for charge trained nurses (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for patients in the unit.
• Ensures continuity of care between shifts and supervises care by nursing assistants, LPNs, and supportive staff.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and acts as patient advocate.
