Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with the healthcare team.

You will educate patients and families, document care accurately, and participate in continuous professional development and performance improvement activities. BLS and RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• 1 year Med Surg experience required
• Must be fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care; regularly evaluate and revise plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care; ensure effective communication and teamwork.
