Job summary
AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families on conditions and treatments.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safety and quality. A nursing license and CPR/BLS certification are required, with preferred CNSc/NE, and prior acute care experience.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse license required.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective patient care.
