Job summary

CARSON VALLEY HEALTH in Gardnerville, NV seeks a Med-Surg Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in the Medical-Surgical Unit, perform assessments, administer medications, and develop care plans in collaboration with the team.

Requires RN license in Nevada, Associate Degree in Nursing, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and English proficiency; per diem status offers a 15% hourly rate premium.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current Nevada RN license required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS (may obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to read and communicate in English, bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and document findings.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Document all patient care activities in EHR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
