Job summary
AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day-shift position. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families on conditions and treatments.
Collaboration with the healthcare team and strict adherence to infection control are essential. Required are an Associate's degree in Nursing, RN license, and BLS; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in nursing is required.
- Current RN license and BLS certification required.
- Acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG and Advanced Life Support knowledge is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, and social factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families to promote understanding and self-care.
