AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift position in Florida. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and therapies, and coordinate care across the healthcare team to support healing and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and participating in quality improvement efforts to enhance outcomes, safety, and satisfaction for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Administers medications and treatments according to policy for all patient populations.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments to identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develops SMART care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Documents care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records.
• Demonstrates proficient technical skills with unit equipment and nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments safely (oral, IV, IM).
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide patient and family education about health conditions and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers, and nurses for coordinated care.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
