Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications following physician orders and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities include patient and family education, collaboration with the medical team, documentation, and continuous quality improvement to ensure safe, effective care. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required, with a bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; reassess and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
