Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a registered nurse to join our full-time acute care team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and an associate degree in nursing (bachelor preferred). Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS & ACLS required.
• 1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and maintain clear documentation.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust as needed to improve outcomes.
