Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rogers 8 Med-Surg unit in Illinois. The role focuses on complex medical-surgical patient care, promoting mobility, autonomy, and safe patient handling.

Qualifying candidates will have an Illinois RN license, BLS within 30 days, and a College Diploma in Nursing with at least 1 year of RN experience. Sign-on bonus available and a 3-year commitment.

Education: College Diploma Nursing.
Work Experience: RN>1yr.

Responsibilities

Performs all responsibilities and duties specific to the med-surg unit and ensures accurate documentation.
Completes initial patient assessment and develops plan of care aligned with unit standards.
Delegates tasks to HCAs and validates completion; ensures patient safety and timely care.
Communicates effectively within the care team to support interdisciplinary collaboration.
