Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the state board (Illinois).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Education: College Diploma in Nursing.
• Work Experience: RN > 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit-based nursing duties and care within med-surg scope.
• Document care accurately to support care coordination and safety.
• Complete initial patient assessments and develop care plans with family input.
• Implement and adjust nursing interventions and care plans as needed.
• Communicate clearly with the healthcare team and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Ensure medication administration follows the 5 Rights and safety protocols.
• Maintain patient safety throughout shifts and respond to call lights promptly.
