Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Illinois (IDFPR)
• BLS certification within 30 days - AHA
• RN > 1 year experience in med-surg nursing

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments and develop care plans
• Document nursing care to support care coordination
• Provide nursing interventions and patient education
• Ensure safety, fall precautions, and infection control
• Communicate with care team for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Delegate tasks to HCTrs and validate completion
• Administer meds using the 5 Rights and document verifications
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and triage needs
• Maintain unit standards and professional development
