Job summary

St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin in East Texas is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high‑quality patient care. In this pivotal role you will perform assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and safety in a busy hospital setting.

You will need an Associate Degree in Nursing, TX RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of RN experience. A Bachelor of Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of RN experience.
• Associate of Nursing (upon hire).
• Registered Nurse: TX (upon hire).
• Basic Life Support - CPR (within 14 days).

Responsibilities

• Assessment: assesses patient condition and provides nursing care to meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Planning: designs, directs, and documents the plan of care and discharge goals.
• Implementation: prepares patients for treatments, reports changes, and follows safety protocols.
• Evaluation: reassesses patients after interventions and adjusts care as needed.
• Report Skills: provides thorough shift reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Environment & Patient Safety: maintains safe environment and reports hazards.
