Qualifications

• Assoc. degree in nursing required; TX RN license on hire
• At least 1 year of RN experience upon hire
• Registered Nurse license in TX on hire
• CPR/BLS certification within 14 days

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition. Provides nursing care to meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Planning: designs, directs, evaluates, and documents the plan of care including discharge needs for patient/family.
• Implementation: prepares patients for treatments, reports changes to physicians, and follows safety protocols.
• Evaluation: reassesses patients after interventions and adjusts care as needed.
• Report Skills: provides bedside shift reports and ensures continuity of care to oncoming staff.
• Environment & Patient Safety: maintains safe environment and reports safety concerns immediately.
