Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Nursing required at hire.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Current TX RN license and CPR; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition and needs; notify doctor of changes.
• Planning: Design, direct, evaluate and document the plan of care and discharge needs; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Implementation: Prepare patients for treatments, report changes, ensure safety and order physician notifications.
• Evaluation: Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Report Skills: Provide bedside report for oncoming shift and ensure continuity of care.
