Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med-Surg unit at St. Charles Hospital to provide high-quality nursing care.

You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to assess patient status, develop care plans, and deliver administering medications within Mercy Health protocols. The role requires a minimum of one year RN experience and RN licensure; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with BLS required and ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS (preferred upon hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, document and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per Mercy Health policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
