Job summary

Mercy Health in Oregon is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical to join a multidisciplinary team. The RN delivers care across the nursing process, conducts assessments, formulates plans, administers medications, and coordinates discharge planning.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience is required; new grads considered
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice; compact licensure acceptable
• BLS required or preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS
• Various nursing certifications (RN-BC, CCRN, PCCN, CMSRN, NIH Stroke) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments and plan care
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedure
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments and with interdisciplinary teams
• Advocate for patient safety and participate in quality improvement activities
