Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Unit at St. Charles Hospital. You will deliver high-quality patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, administering medications, and developing care plans to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or preferred.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Current state licensure as an RN required.
• BLS certification preferred upon hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve planned outcomes.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with Mercy Health policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Current RN license

BLS certification (preferred)

ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS
