Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota is seeking an experienced RN to deliver individualized patient care using the full nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in accordance with Ridgeview standards and ANA practice.

You will provide nursing care, educate patients and families, document medical records, and advocate for patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team; charge nurse duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current MN RN licensure or pending MN licensure by endorsement.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or equivalent trauma education within 1 year of hire.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and develop care plans.
• Provide nursing care and documentation.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate community resources.
• Contribute to professional development of peers and staff.
• Demonstrate Med/Surg nursing competencies.
