Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center in Minnesota seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized patient care through the nursing process, from assessment to evaluation, in alignment with state standards and ANA guidelines.

The role includes direct nursing care, care planning, patient education, documentation, QA participation, advocacy, and collaboration with physicians and peers. BSN and NRP/STABLE ACLS may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Minnesota RN license or permit while license is pending.
• BLS certification from ACLS or equivalent is preferred.
• NRP certification within 6 months from hire.
• STABLE certification within 6 months from hire.
• BSN preferred; ACLS/ACLS certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Document and maintain accurate medical records and reports.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Advocate for patients and connect to community resources.
• Collaborate with peers and physicians to enhance nursing practice.
• Demonstrate competency in the nursing specialty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
