Aptive is seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse to join the Miami VA Healthcare System, covering acute care units and related services across spinal cord injuries, telemetry, orthopedics, oncology, neurology and postoperative care.

The RN will perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage IV therapy, monitor telemetry, handle admissions, discharges and transfers, and participate in emergency response with BLS/ACLS certification required.

Formación

• Unrestricted nursing license in the United States or DC.
• Experience in an acute care medical/surgical setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care on an acute care medical/surgical unit within a teaching and research environment.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, telemetry monitoring and transports.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team, document in EMR, respond to emergencies, and perform procedures as skilled.
