Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is looking for a Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN to join a collaborative care team in Gainesville, FL. The RN will conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and educate patients and families. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of acute care RN experience and possess an active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license. Qualifications

Job Overview

This Cardiac Telemetry Med‑Surg RN position is located in Gainesville, FL at a 523‑bed acute care hospital that holds Joint Commission accreditation, Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center designation from the American College of Cardiology. The hospital also carries Blue Distinction Center designations for Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery and offers a full range of cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedic, and neuroscience services.

Responsibilities

Working within a collaborative care team alongside medical providers, you will conduct thorough patient assessments at admission and each shift, promptly identifying and communicating changes in patient status. You will carry out provider‑ordered procedures and monitoring, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the medical record throughout. Medication administration is a core responsibility — you will evaluate therapeutic responses and act decisively when an unintended reaction occurs. You will also serve as the primary educator for patients, families, and caregivers, translating complex medical information about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care into clear, understandable terms.

Qualifications
