Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team for direct patient care across hospital departments. You will perform head-to-toe assessments, manage pain, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to adjust care plans as conditions change.

The role requires current Idaho RN licensure, BLS, and preferable ACLS/PALS; TNCC within 18 months is expected. Prior telemetry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN licensure in Idaho.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• TNCC within 18 months of hire.
• Telemetry competency or prior telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and ongoing reassessments.
• Assess and manage patient pain with appropriate techniques.
• Revise care plans based on patient response.
• Provide education to patient and family.
• Administer medications following five rights and safety checks.
• Support physicians during procedures and procedures requiring skills.
• Interpret basic lab results and coordinate with care team.
• Adhere to age-specific standards of care.
• Document care accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team in ED and hospital units.
