Job summary

Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas, is hiring full-time Med/Surg RNs for day and night shifts (12-hour). Typical schedule: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, three shifts per week. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying full-time nurses.

You will assess patient needs, plan and coordinate nursing care, and collaborate with the team to ensure safe, compassionate, patient-centered care. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and Texas RN license; BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred, or higher.
• Unrestricted Texas RN license and BLS.
• Six to twelve months inpatient Med/Surg experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs on the unit and plan nursing care.
• Lead the care plan through implementation with the team.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care as needed.
