Job summary

Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas is hiring full-time Med/Surg RNs for day and night shifts on 12-hour schedules (7a–7p or 7p–7a). A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualifying full-time Med/Surg RNs.

The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the care team to evaluate patient outcomes. Required: RN licensure in Texas and BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Unrestricted Texas RN license and Basic Life Support.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Eligible to participate in RN Preceptorship program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care to meet physical, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
• Lead and coordinate care with nursing staff to implement the care plan.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care as needed.
