Job summary

Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas is seeking full-time Med/Surg RNs for day and night shifts. The position involves three 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying full-time RNs.

Eligible candidates have an accredited nursing degree, Texas RN license and BLS, with BSN preferred. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, and coordination of the patient’s plan, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care and collaboration with the healthcare

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Texas RN license and BLS required.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Six to twelve months of inpatient med/surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs on the unit and plan nursing care to meet physical, emotional and psychosocial requirements.
• Lead and coordinate care with the team to implement the plan and evaluate patient response.
