Heartline Staffing in Brockton, MA invites applications for a Nursing Supervisor (Med/Surg) on-site, overseeing patient care and nursing leadership across units during evenings, nights and weekends. The role offers a competitive annual salary range and requires an RN license, BSN within 4 years if needed, and leadership experience.

The position reports to Nursing Director and supports the Nursing Leadership Team with staffing, policy adherence, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma, ASN or BSN REQUIRED
• BSN within 4 years if not held REQUIRED
• Minimum 5 years of Staff Nurse experience, including Charge Nurse responsibilities REQUIRED
• Previous nursing leadership experience REQUIRED
• Massachusetts RN license REQUIRED
• BLS certification REQUIRED
• ACLS certification REQUIRED
• Clinical knowledge to oversee care from infancy to geriatrics REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical role model and provide direction and support to nursing personnel
• Evaluate patient care and promote effective application of the nursing process
• Make staffing decisions to support high-quality, cost-efficient patient care
• Support nursing HR management and positive employee relations
• Coordinate on-site hospital operations during assigned shifts
• Participate as a member of the Nursing Leadership Team
• Plan and direct nursing activities per hospital policies and goals
• Maintain interdisciplinary communication and collaboration
• Foster professional interactions with patients, physicians, staff and community
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and commitment to development
