Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Nurse Manager for Med-Surg in Brockton, MA. This in-person leadership role oversees day-to-day nursing operations on a Medical-Surgical unit, with responsibility for staffing, workflows, quality, and patient care, reporting to nursing executive leadership.

The successful candidate will have a BSN, MA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 3 years of acute care Med-Surg experience. The position offers a competitive salary up to $131,500 plus benefits and a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited program
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 3 years of acute care RN Med-Surg experience required
• Analytical and organizational skills to supervise staff and develop policies
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to mentor and collaborate
• English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic computer proficiency to access electronic information
• 5+ years of RN Med-Surg experience preferred
• Supervisory/management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide unit-level leadership and operational oversight for safe, high-quality patient care
• Supervise and manage clinical and non-clinical staff and daily operations
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure patient care needs are met
• Oversee clinical practice and care coordination with nursing processes
• Identify and address operational and staffing issues with Nurse Director
• Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Promote staff competency through education, orientation, and training
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource and provide direct patient care as needed
