Grand Canyon University in Tucson, AZ seeks a Full-Time Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty member for the Accelerated BSN program. You will reinforce didactic content and supervise clinical and lab applications for pre-licensure nursing students, teaching across settings and ensuring alignment with accreditation standards.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, active Arizona RN license, and at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Active, current, and unencumbered RN license in AZ or a compact state.
• Minimum 2 years’ Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last 2 years.
• Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
• Must travel to student clinical sites to directly observe student performance.

Aufgaben

• Reinforce didactic content and teaches in the context of clinical and lab applications for pre-licensure Nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical and lab objectives.
• Participate in grading written and Clinical/Lab performance check-offs.
• Maintain lines of communication with program faculty and director including attendance in select faculty meetings.
• Remain current with new trends and development in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation.
• Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession and the University’s pillars.
