Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Nurse Assistant for the Med Surg/Telemetry Department. You will assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge, contributing to a safe, compassionate patient environment.

Requirements: current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and preferably six months of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and ongoing.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Support safe environment under RN supervision.
