Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• 1+ year as charge nurse or equivalent leadership role
• 2+ years in acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapies, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals.
• Mentor staff, identify training needs, and support career development.
• Resolve conflicts among staff to maintain a positive work environment.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and analyze data.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training.
• Ensure regulatory and hospital policy compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
