Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse Inpatient for the CDH Med/Surg Intermediate unit (3C). This full-time role requires a BSN and Illinois RN licensure. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care, coordinate with the health team and apply evidence-based practice.

You will participate in shared governance, document outcomes, and support bedside rounds. The unit is fast-paced with high acuity, and involvement in multidisciplinary care is expected.

Qualifications

• BSN required and Illinois RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, develops and implements an individualized plan.
• Directs care and utilizes any assistants appropriately.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to coordinate care.
• Participates in shared governance and unit projects.
• Documents patient responses and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Uses evidence to guide practice decisions.
