Job summary

Golden Plains Community Hospital is seeking a Director for the Medical-Surgical/ICU Unit to lead clinical and operational excellence. Monday-Friday with on-call responsibilities, generous benefits, PTO, sign-on bonus, and relocation support if applicable.

The Director will provide strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and staff development, ensuring high-quality patient care across all ages. The role requires RN licensure in Texas, BLS, ACLS/PALS within specified windows, and proven

Qualifications

RN licensed by the State of Texas.
BLS required on or before first day of employment; ACLS and PALS within 3 months; TNCC/CEN within 18 months.

Responsibilities

Directs staff and schedules work to facilitate effective and efficient patient care.
Oversees and manages all aspects of the department.
Plans, researches, and requests purchases of the department's equipment and supplies.
Provides leadership, vision, development and implementation of long-term goals for the department.
Identifies, facilitates and evaluates patient practices and programs according to nursing standards.
Investigates and resolves department and personnel problems.
