Job summary

Golden Plains Community Hospital is seeking a Director for the MS/ICU Unit. Hours are Monday-Friday, with on-call.

The Director will provide leadership, budget accountability, and strategic planning for the department, ensuring high-quality patient care and collaboration with physicians and staff. The role requires an RN licensed in Texas with BLS on hire, ACLS/PALS within three months, and TNCC/CEN within eighteen months, plus five years of clinical experience including supervisory

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas from an accredited school.
• BLS required by first day of employment.
• ACLS and PALS required within three months of employment.
• TNCC/CEN required within eighteen months of employment.
• Five years of clinical experience with at least three years in management/supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Directs and schedules staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Oversees all aspects of the MS/ICU department.
• Plans and requests purchases of equipment and supplies.
• Provides leadership and develops long-term goals for the department.
• Implements education and training for staff to meet patient needs.
• Addresses department and personnel issues and resolves problems.
• Monitors data and performance improvement initiatives within the department.
